A photo from Scout Moor, on the road from Bury to Rochdale. The line of giant wind turbines marching across the horizon from right to left, right on the peak of the hill, clearly shows everything that local residents hate about wind power. The turbines are too big, too obtrusive, and there has been zero attempt to blend them into the landcape or take into account any of the genuine objections from residents.

'Incredible-Energy UK' are completely opposed to this kind of insensitive development, and are absolutely committed to finding new ways to make wind power part of the landscape we are sworn to protect.

Our new Crowdfunding initiative is aimed directly at addressing the very real concerns of country folk.

This is a view of the rear of 'Oasis Academy Media City UK' in Ordsall, Salford. A small wind turbine has been paired with a small solar panel to provide sufficient power for the sign and security lights on the back of the building. This is an example of how wind power - at the right scale - can be appropriate, and practically invisible to passers-by.

This is the Southport 'Eco Centre'. In fact, it's the Bus Station, but it's a new, purpose-built and well constructed building, with good insulation and the toilets are flushed by harvested rain water. The walls inside are full of information boards and models, with demonstrations of energy saving features for the home. It provides valuable educational information that will keep excited kids interested, while they're waiting for a bus. At the rear, the wind turbine generates enough energy to provide power for the whole building. As you can see, it's not a massive height, proving that giant wind turbines are not always necessary, especially in urban locations, and can be built in reasonable, and humane,  proportions.
